KISA COMMUNITY-NEW TESTAMENT BIBLE LAUNCH AND DEDICATION
In April 2023, the Kisa community celebrated a historic milestone: the launch of the New Testament in the Kisa heart language. This moment marked the fulfillment of many years of prayer, translation work, and community collaboration. For the first time, the Kisa people could access Scripture in the language they speak, understand, and treasure in their daily lives.
The launch was filled with joy, song, and thanksgiving as churches, elders, youth groups, and families gathered to welcome the Bible into their community. Hearing the Word of God read aloud in Kisa created a deep emotional connection, many expressed that Scripture “finally feels like it belongs to us.” For older generations, the experience brought tears, while younger people saw a renewed sense of identity and belonging.
This Bible launch has become a catalyst for spiritual growth across the Kisa region. Churches are now teaching the Word more effectively, Bible study groups are forming, and families are reading Scripture at home with confidence. The presence of the New Testament in Kisa is strengthening faith, encouraging unity, and reviving cultural pride.
The April 2023 launch not only celebrated the arrival of a translated Bible—it celebrated the dignity, voice, and future of the Kisa people. As the Kisa community continues to engage with God’s Word, we look forward to seeing lives transformed and the Gospel rooted even deeper in their hearts.
