Our Leadership Program
A Christian leader is someone who is called by God to lead; leads with and through Christ-like character; and demonstrates the functional competencies that permit effective leadership to take place.
Leaders provide direction. But unfortunately, too many of our churches in Africa have become poor examples of what Christianity is all about. Every church should have quality people: those who lead, encourage, and direct others to become even greater and more effective Christians.
In Kenya, new churches are being planted every day, with some of the leaders having little knowledge on leadership or attended any theology class. Most of the people who follow such leaders have no idea of where they are being led. It is even more frustrating that some of the followers of such leaders get introduced to cults without their knowledge.
ELI started implementing a leadership development program for Pastors, church youth leaders and other denominational heads in 2021. The trainings aim at equipping our church leaders to become the most effective leaders they can possibly be and take as many people as they can to Heaven.
