LUSONGA COMMUNITY-NEW TESTAMENT BIBLE LAUNCH AND DEDICATION
The Lusonga community experienced a powerful and unforgettable moment with the launch of the New Testament in the Lusonga heart language. For many years, Lusonga speakers longed to hear and read Scripture in the language that reflects their identity, heritage, and daily life. The arrival of the New Testament marked a spiritual breakthrough and a celebration of culture, unity, and faith.
The launch event brought together church leaders, local elders, youth, and families who gathered with joy and anticipation. As passages of Scripture were read aloud in Lusonga, the atmosphere was filled with emotion, many people expressed that hearing God’s Word in their own language made the message come alive in a new and deeper way. What once felt distant suddenly felt personal.
Since the launch, churches in the Lusonga region have begun using the translated Scriptures in worship, Bible study, and teaching. Families now have the opportunity to read the Bible together at home, strengthening faith across generations. Youth groups have embraced the translation as a tool for spiritual growth and cultural pride.
The Lusonga New Testament represents more than a book, it represents access, dignity, and transformation. As the community continues to engage with Scripture in their heart language, we look forward to seeing lives changed, leaders empowered, and faith strengthened for generations to come.
