MARAMA COMMUNITY-NEW TESTAMENT BIBLE LAUNCH AND DEDICATION
The Marama community celebrated a deeply meaningful milestone with the launch of the New Testament in the Marama heart language. For the first time, Scripture was made available in the language spoken in homes, marketplaces, and everyday life, marking a powerful moment of identity, unity, and spiritual awakening.
During the launch, churches, elders, women’s groups, youth, and families gathered with excitement and gratitude. As the Word of God was read in Marama, many expressed a profound sense of connection, hearing Scripture in their own language made the message clearer, more personal, and more transformative. Songs of celebration and prayers of thanksgiving filled the air, reflecting the joy of a community receiving God’s Word in a way they truly understand.
The Marama New Testament is already making a significant impact. Churches are using it for preaching and teaching, Bible study groups are forming, and families are reading Scripture together with new enthusiasm. For many, this translation has opened the door to deeper discipleship and stronger spiritual foundations.
Beyond spiritual growth, the Bible launch has also renewed cultural pride and affirmed the value of the Marama language. It stands as a reminder that every community deserves access to Scripture in their heart language.
As the Marama community engages with the New Testament, we believe this milestone will continue to inspire faith, empower leaders, and transform lives for generations to come.
